Between the 1950s and 1980s Latin America went through very complicated periods, with military dictatorships and violence. During this period, too, Latin American musical productions gained a strong political and revolutionary imprint. With lyrics about love, freedom and daily life, in Spanish and Portuguese, this period produced songs and featured singers who, it could be said, have become immortal. Although involved (before and today) in difficult situations, Palestine and Latin America have much in common, especially the will for freedom and justice.
Come and listen to some of these Latin American songs (from Cuba, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, and more), with guitar and voice, and compose our artistic struggle for a better world!

* This performance is dedicated to Marielle Franco, a Brazilian woman, black activist, killed by the police. Fascists, racists, will not pass!
Marielle, presente!
