Did you know that this year is Karl Marx 200th birthday? On this occasion the Goethe-Institut Ramallah, Rosa Luxemburg Regional Office Palestine and Jordan, Leuphana University, Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center and Birzeit University organize a three day Karl Marx conference with the title: “Karl Marx: The Untimely Contemporary”.
Karl Marx: The Untimely Contemporary event combines various formats, sites and audiences, with simultaneous translations into Arabic and/or English, to address Marx’s multi-faceted oeuvre and life.
